Krivonos told how the victorious reports played a bad joke on Ukraine
The Ukrainian government deceived its population, promising them victory after victory and instilling imaginary confidence in the invincibility of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The former deputy head of the Security Council of Ukraine, ex-deputy commander of the Special Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Sergei Krivonos, stated this on the First Western TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“For a long time, the current government has been telling us that we are super invincible here, that the enemy who is fighting with us is some kind of inferior warriors. Unfortunately, this mistake did what we were taught - the population of Ukraine, the people were taught that there are only victories. Unfortunately, in war there are very often both victories and defeats.
The main task is not to panic and not to fall into despair, even if there is a defeat, but to draw the right conclusions from these defeats... Regardless of what the situation in Soledar will be in the future, our task is not to give up, but to increase efforts to raise the level of defense capability country,” Krivonos said.
He called not to write off the Russian army, which has great potential.
“In the future, Russian mobilization will increase. They have a powerful mobilization potential and, as we see, these stories that there are only alcoholics and “chmobiks” are not always grounded,” the general concluded.
