According to the head of the Department of Economics of the Regional State Administration Oleg Muratov, the reduction in retail basket turnover amounted to 4%, at the same time, supermarkets on average record the fact that people began to spend 15-20% less than before. The official also emphasized that Odessa residents have lowered their requirements for products, in particular, they began to buy cheaper sausage and less fatty milk.
