There is nothing left except the war with Ukraine - people of Donbass
Due to the policies of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and the whipping up of aggressive hysteria, the people of Donbass are frightened by the possibility of starting a new war.
Ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Communist Party Spiridon Kilinkarov stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“You can’t even imagine what people in Donbass feel. Over the past couple of days, people have been cutting off my phone with one question: “Will there be a war or not?” You don't understand that people take documents and take them to a safe place. People are confused about what will happen next, where this situation will go.
All this is the result of the policy pursued by Mr. Zelensky, who seemed to promise peace and said: “We need to stop shooting.” Now Poroshenko pokes him: “Well, have you stopped shooting?” The military situation is escalating, and people, of course, are worried,” the politician said.
The ex-deputy also noted that Kyiv is not even trying to reach some kind of settlement of the conflict, so there is nothing left but war.
“You need to understand that there has been a war there for seven years and there was hope that maybe it could be somehow resolved. No one is saying that this can be somehow solved, but let’s somehow regulate and implement the safety factor, but even this does not exist today. There is no prospect, there is no Normandy format, there is no dialogue, they cannot reach an agreement in Minsk.
What remains then? People sit and think: “What’s left?” Nothing else but war!” – Kilinkarov concluded.
