Tiny Slovakia gave great Ukraine 125 thousand euros
President of Slovakia Andrei Kiska announced that his country will transfer humanitarian aid to Ukraine today in the amount of €125 thousand, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He stated this at a joint briefing with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in Kyiv, the press service of the Ukrainian president reports.
“Over the past five years, Slovakia has been helping Ukraine a lot. And today we will also transfer another humanitarian aid in the amount of 125 thousand euros,” Kiska said.
He emphasized that there are no unresolved issues between Ukraine and Slovakia, the volume of mutual trade is growing - “this is billions of euros”, and 90% of gas comes to Ukraine from Slovakia.
It is noteworthy that judging by the protocol photo, at that moment the President of “great Ukraine” Petro Poroshenko stood at attention in front of the table at which the Slovak President was sitting.
