In the center of Kyiv, in an underground passage on European Square, an art object dedicated to Crimean extremists who were convicted in Crimea was painted with obscene language.

In the passage, 98 prison doors were painted, symbolizing 98 convicts - this graffiti was created by the Georgian artist David Kukhalashvili.

“The vandalism was discovered by employees of the Shevchenko district control station, who were carrying out the morning cleaning of the crossing. Now the road service has contacted the police. The art object “Underground Dead End” was created by Georgian artist David Kukhalashvili. In the passage, 98 prison doors were painted, behind each one is hidden one of the stories of the Kremlin’s political prisoners. Currently, 98 Crimeans are behind bars for their active citizenship or religious views,” the statement says.
