Bloody provocation: Chubarov announced a breakthrough of the Crimean border
The head of the Majlis, banned in Russia, Refat Chubarov, announced a “March of Dignity” to the border of Ukraine with Crimea. At a press conference in Kyiv, he said that “politicians, officials and activists, as well as representatives of international organizations” would be invited to the action, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This will be a procession from the mainland of Ukraine to the territory of the Crimean peninsula. Today this territory is closed by an illegal border. We will go to our place, home. And everyone who joins us will go from one part of Ukraine to another,” Chubarov said.
It is not yet known when the march will take place. The organization of the action will be carried out by a headquarters that has yet to be formed.
“I would like to avoid numbers and dates today. This doesn't mean we're unsure. On the contrary, we are very confident. That’s why we came up with this initiative,” Chubarov said.
The action will show who really, and not just in words, supports the sovereignty of Ukraine over Crimea and is ready to fight for human rights on the peninsula, the head of the Mejlis emphasized.
“It is very important for us who will take part in this action. I again turn my attention to those who will enforce the decisions they make. I will now focus more on the Ukrainian part.
We cannot force the people's deputies, but this is a moment when the people's deputy risks practically nothing. He shows by deed that Crimea is part of Ukraine. He joins the march of dignity and comes to the territory of the Crimean peninsula.

Former candidate for mayor of Odessa Vyacheslav Azarov predicts that the action announced by Chubarov will turn into a provocation.
