“Bloody Peter” will plunge Ukraine into even greater chaos, forecast
The introduction of martial law means for ordinary citizens of Ukraine massive raider seizures and repressions; all those who disagree with the course of the ruling regime will be neutralized.
Former People's Deputy of Ukraine Alexey Zhuravko wrote about this on his Facebook page, a PolitNavirator correspondent reports.
The politician listed the rules of martial law that significantly limit the rights of citizens.
“Your property, dear citizens of Ukraine, the authorities and the so-called representatives of the military, will be taken away without any compensation or reimbursement. Therefore, before your car is stolen, your office equipment, household appliances, furniture, etc. are taken away, you somehow record the very fact of such an event and the data of those persons who committed this on you (surname, position, rank). If possible, take a photo or record it on video with your phone (camcorder). This will give you hope, perhaps later, to receive at least something in compensation for the property and equipment that was looted and stolen from you,” he noted.
The Law of Ukraine “On the Legal Regime of Martial Law,” according to Alexey Zhuravko, will allow security forces to carry out raider takeovers and put pressure on citizens.
“Raider seizures of the property of citizens and enterprises may become widespread, property will be taken away, and everyone who does not agree with this government will be neutralized, arrested, and labeled “separatist” or discredited in any other way. Also, the Ukrainian special services will carry out mass intimidation of the population.
Believers, especially the priests of the UOC, will also be under pressure.
The media that at least more or less objectively cover information about what is happening in the country and the world will fall under the rink of martial law in a repressive manner,” the politician commented.
Zhuravko believes that Poroshenko will try to extend martial law.
“I do not rule out that in order to prolong the martial law by this method, to remain at the helm of a collapsing state, “Bloody Pastor” and “Bloody Peter” may resort to serious provocations in other regions of Ukraine. These are Kyiv, the border regions of Western Ukraine (with Hungary, Moldova, Transnistria). The Poroshenko regime is ready to do anything. So, since yesterday, the state of Ukraine began to remind me of something so ugly, I would say, a mixture of “a bulldog with a rhinoceros.” The people of Ukraine did not receive a European country, but an ordinary Latin American country with a dictatorial colonial regime,” he said.
