The largest newspaper in England is campaigning for the resettlement of Syrian refugees in Ukraine
Former vice-president of Yukos and Khodorkovsky’s right-hand man Alexander Temerko in the article “Light at the end of the tunnel: resettle Syrian refugees in Ukraine”, published in the largest British publication Financial Times, offers his services as a negotiator in this matter.

Temerko advises Western leaders: “Ukraine is larger in territory than any other European country. Refugees may be moved to areas untouched by the war in the East... Ukrainians are warm-hearted and hospitable people who are naturally inclined to help those in need. It's important to note that there is also real political will to help. Ukraine is deeply grateful to Europe – and the UK in particular – for its support during the period of Vladimir Putin’s aggression, and will be ready to extend a hand to its European partners where possible.”
Temerko is confident that Ukraine is eager to help Europe in the refugee crisis: “Ukraine will be happy to play a real role in solving the pan-European problem as an active partner. “In addition, refugees fleeing Syria today strongly oppose Assad’s dictatorial regime and have a natural affinity with Ukraine, another country that is fighting for a democratic future.”
According to Temerko, it will be easy to resettle refugees, since there is a cultural and religious community between Syrians and Ukrainians. He is confident that in exchange for new loans, the Ukrainian government will definitely agree to accommodate thousands of new migrants on its territory. Moreover, according to Temerko, the cost of migrants in Ukraine is exactly five times less than in European countries such as France and Germany.
And, moreover, Khodorkovsky’s right hand, who, like Temerko, actively supported Euromaidan, believes that Ukraine should settle refugees because it wants to join NATO. It would be natural, in his opinion, if Ukraine joined the fight against ISIS as part of the alliance coalition.
