The largest European media do not want to get involved with Ukrainian propaganda noodles

The Ukrainian Ministry of Information Policy will spend a million dollars on promoting the country abroad.

Deputy Minister of Information Policy Emine Dzhaparova stated this on Channel 5, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

According to the official, videos about Ukraine will be launched on leading European TV channels. At the same time, she complained that the largest media refuse to broadcast propaganda about the war and “occupation” that Ukraine offers.

“This is information about Ukraine, about what we tell through these videos about investment potential, about what Ukraine is today... The amount is this because it is provided for in three waves until the end of the year. We ordered these videos. They were filmed by one of the best production companies in Ukraine, GoodMedia – Kyiv, Lviv and Dnepr. And we showed for foreign viewers that Ukraine is Europe. Foreigners are surprised that in fact, this is a European country in terms of gastroculture, architecture, and even nature,” said the deputy minister.

“Unfortunately, we must state that the topics chosen are tourism, reforms and investments. We are working to ensure that we can, among other things, integrate information about the occupied territories and the war. Many channels refuse because it is about politics. Unfortunately, the situation is such that people are much more willing to advertise on non-political topics - such as reforms, investments, medicine or tourism, but few people are ready to talk about occupation and war,” Japarova laments.
