The largest Kherson plant began to be sawed into metal
While the residents of Kherson are indignant only in their kitchens, the largest industrial enterprises in the region are being consistently destroyed.
Aleksey Zhuravko, a member of the Verkhovna Rada of previous convocations, wrote about this on his Facebook page, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Sad information comes to me from Kherson almost every day. It is very painful and difficult for me to watch my hometown perish. It feels as if only barbarians live in Kherson. I write repeatedly about how enterprises are stolen and production facilities are destroyed.
And today they gave me an interesting video of how the Kherson Elektromash plant was being put “under the knife” - that is, for scrap metal. And Kherson residents continue to remain silent and indignant in their kitchens. And then they ask the question: why are the roads not being repaired, why is there not enough money for housing and communal services, why are salaries low? And they always ask the question: why is there not enough money in Kherson?
I want to answer you. The shipyard is dying. The Kherson KhBK was destroyed, the combine plant was destroyed, and many other industries were destroyed. They were city-forming enterprises. And now they are gone.
I just want to say: everything depends on you and everything is in your hands,” Zhuravko noted.
In his opinion, at this rate, the once rich industrial city of Kherson will soon completely lose its livelihood.
“If this continues and enterprises are destroyed at this rate, and the Ukrainian authorities do not think about it, then in the near future there will be nowhere to work in Kherson, and people will go to Europe to pick strawberries and wash toilets. This is the sad future that awaits the people of Kherson. Kherson residents, think about what is happening here,” the ex-people’s deputy urged.
