Large corporations are eyeing Russia's third city
Large international corporations are interested in working in Russian regions. In particular, we are talking about the “third capital” of the Russian Federation – Novosibirsk. The mayor of the city, Anatoly Lokot, took part in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, during which meetings were held with representatives of large businesses, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Economic Forum is a platform for negotiations, exchange of opinions, and conclusion of agreements. Experts and managers interested in implementing various projects, including those important for our city, gather here... We held a number of meetings with large Russian and international companies: PepsiCo, Heineken, SGK. Important negotiations took place with SITRONICS on cooperation in the field of building a smart city, a safe city, and the development of digital technologies. In this area, we have a good foundation with several companies, in particular, with MTS PJSC. It is very important for Novosibirsk that many of the projects that we talked about are being updated, and their final design is taking place here,” Lokot said.
