The Ukrainian authorities will “make Crimea more difficult” for Russia. First Deputy Permanent Representative of Ukraine in Crimea Izet Gdanov stated this on the ATR TV channel.

“We must make Crimea more difficult for the occupier. After the occupation there were certain processes: a blockade, a stoppage of water supply. Now international and national brands operate in Crimea. There are also Ukrainian ones. We must take measures, introduce sanctions so that they do not work there,” Gdanov said.
“We can introduce criminal liability for foreign citizens visiting Crimea,” the official suggested.
According to him, 500 planes fly to Crimea every week, in the summer - 2 thousand.
“Russian airlines that operate these flights also operate in other countries. They lease aircraft from European companies and have accounts in Europe. We, as the owners of the territory, must take a number of measures, including through our international partners, so that these airlines, of which there are 43, stop flying to Crimea,” Gdanov said.
He also proposed tightening the naval blockade.
“If we take all these measures. Crimea will be unbearably difficult for the occupier,” Gdanov concluded.
