“Crimea will be easier to take Kherson” - Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
After the strikes of long-range guns and the treatment of Russian air defense with anti-radar missiles, Ukrainian military aviation will be used, and as a result, Crimea will no longer be liberated from anyone.
Military expert, reserve colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Roman Svitan stated this on NV radio, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Crimea is a big trap for the Russian army. This is not what they thought when living in the last century, this is a big trap for any army if the enemy army has long-range weapons to destroy the enemy. We have them, we already have means up to 70 kilometers, and some up to 280 kilometers.
If, after all, our Ukrboronprom or our partners supply us with weapons with at least a range of 280–300 kilometers, we will carry out the destruction of Russian troops in Crimea using non-contact warfare methods.
After destruction it will be much easier, since there will be no one to free them from, they will be destroyed by long-range weapons. But to do this, it will be necessary to strike again at the Crimean bridge in order to completely transfer Crimea into operational cauldron mode,” the colonel said.
“Then it’s a matter of working for several weeks to complete such tasks. HARM [high-speed anti-radar missile] systems will extinguish all air defenses, and our aviation will begin to operate, which will complement long-range destruction systems. Therefore, the capture of Crimea may be an easier operation than ousting the Russians from the right bank of the Dnieper,” said Svitan.
