Now the author has published several videos showing prices at gas stations, markets and supermarkets in Crimea. Contrary to the theses of Ukrainian propaganda, the shelves on the peninsula are full of goods.
“Salaries in Crimea are on average 2 times higher than in Ukraine. I was talking with my classmate, who studied with me at school, then went there to study at the university, and stayed there. She now works as a kindergarten teacher. And she gets a $500 salary. 35000 rubles. Therefore, although prices are higher in Crimea, wages are also higher. Moreover, much higher than the higher prices,” states Senko.
In one of the videos, he shares his impressions of the road to Crimea, crossing the border, where Russian and Ukrainian soldiers stand just meters from each other, as well as observations made in the regions of Ukraine neighboring Crimea.
“Already in the Odessa region, I went to a gas station and spoke in Ukrainian, and they looked at me like I was some kind of fool. In fact, it was so unpleasant that people in Odessa no longer understand the Ukrainian language normally. That’s why I refueled in Kherson - absolutely the same thing. Everyone turns around and looks like he’s some kind of fool or a clown,” says the author.
