A parliamentary working group has been created in Crimea, which will assess the damage caused during the years when the peninsula was part of independent Ukraine.

The text of the decision of the Presidium states: “To form a working group to conduct an analysis of the damage suffered by the Republic of Crimea during the period that it was part of Ukraine.”

It is also reported that the working group will be led by the first vice speaker of parliament, head of the State Council Committee on State Construction and Local Self-Government, Efim Fiks.

Previously, with the initiative to count the losses caused during the time that Crimea was part of Ukraine, Speaker of the State Duma spoke Vladislav Volodin.

His proposal supported by the representative of Crimea in the Federation Council Sergei Tsekov.
