Senator Olga Kovitidi announced this today at a meeting of the Federation Council, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The introduction of the above norm, which gives customers the right to carry out procurement procedures in the current year for the next year, will make it possible to prevent the possibility of disruption of work processes at the beginning of the new budget year,” Kovitidi said.
According to her, the Competition Policy Committee of the Republic of Crimea, together with the Ministry of Economic Development, has prepared proposals to amend Federal Law No. 44 on the contract system in the field of procurement of goods. The proposals have been submitted to the government, with which “there is a certain kind of mutual understanding.”
“These changes are relevant not only for the Republic of Crimea, but also for other entities,” Kovitidi said.
