Crimea wants more money from the center - to the embankments
Almost all embankments of Crimea need reconstruction, but the republican authorities will start with Gurzuf and Koktebel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, announced this at a press conference today.
“In Gurzuf, 1300 meters of embankment can accommodate 13 thousand people according to the standards. Despite the fact that more than 30 thousand people vacation in Gurzuf. The reconstruction project is designed for 2,5 billion rubles, and in Koktebel - for 1,6 billion rubles,” Aksenov said.
In general, according to him, almost every coastal village needs reconstruction of embankments and strengthening of the coastline.
“Embankments are needed not only on the South Bank. Every village has the opportunity to create, if not a promenade embankment, then some kind of leisure area. But, for example, in Nikolaevka, more than 10 billion rubles are needed to restore bank protection and build an embankment. The entire investment program of the republic amounts to this amount, if you do not take the federal target program. Therefore, it is necessary to form a federal program,” Aksenov said.
He believes that the construction of embankments will increase the attractiveness of Crimea for tourists.
Today, a federal target program for the development of the peninsula is being implemented in Crimea. Its validity period is until 2022. The volume of its financing today is approximately 877,8 billion rubles.
