Crimea is the final goal of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ offensive – Pinchuk
The ultimate goal of the entire offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is Crimea. Only cutting the land corridor to the peninsula or taking it under fire control will allow Kyiv to launch strategic trading.
The former head of the Ministry of State Security of the DPR, one of the leaders of the Union of Donbass Volunteers, Andrei Pinchuk, stated this on air on the Tsargrad TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Pinchuk, all other goals for Ukraine are peripheral.
“The final plan, there is only one, is to create either a fire attack or cut off the infrastructure of Crimea. Crimea is the final goal, in any case. Neither Donetsk, nor Melitopol, nor Mariupol are a military, full-fledged final goal for one simple reason - only Crimea can be an object for military and strategic political bargaining.
And therefore, no matter what they do, no matter what they strive for - by the way, this is noticeable in the statements of the same Zelensky, he says: “Let's approach Crimea, then it will be possible to talk about something. He lets it slip. The rest is the implementation of tasks on the way to this goal,” said Pinchuk
