President Vladimir Putin stated this during a conversation with young teachers at the Seliger camp, answering a question from a girl from Dagestan with Crimean Tatar roots about the possibility of obtaining land in Crimea.

“We recognized the Crimean Tatar language as one of the three state languages of Crimea. But this is not enough. We just need to provide material support for the development of the social sphere, we need to develop the villages where the Crimean Tatars live, we need to develop the infrastructure, both transport and social infrastructure. We need kindergartens, hospitals, clinics, etc. and so on. Now programs are being formulated, money will be allocated,” the head of state noted.

“Of course, I’ll tell you frankly, we will allocate money, but also due to budgetary restrictions, first of all for what we have, for what we now have to repair, raise to its feet and bring it into divine shape. If we are faced with a flow of migrants, it will be difficult to effectively implement these programs. Well, let’s say we allocated X amount. We know that so many people live there. But if this amount doubles, then this money will not be enough, can we allocate additional money? I’m not sure, but we still think at least three years ahead. At the same time, we cannot prohibit people from relocating, and we will not prohibit them. I don’t know yet whether they will be able to get into these programs; we have not resolved these issues yet,” explained Vladimir Putin.
