Crimea was not returned, Donbass was not won – Tomosek deputy boasted of a “historic victory”
Ukraine, creating his own “Orthodox Church”, made a grandiose breakthrough, in comparison with which the loss of Crimea pales.
Deputy Yevgeny Rybchinsky stated this during a plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There really was a historic victory. No, the annexed Crimea did not return to us, the war in Donbass did not end and gas tariffs were not reduced fourfold, but Ukrainian churches united. On Saturday, an event occurred that was not just historical, but epoch-making. Because without ideological and mental independence, there is no other independence,” said Rybchinsky.
According to him, Ukraine previously worked “for the ideology of our northern neighbor.”
“They pumped all our gas out of Brody and Shebelinka, and now they are selling gas at exorbitant prices and pumping gas from our territory to Europe. But this is not about that, it is about mental independence. Finally, Ukrainian churches united,” says the politician.
He also recalled that several Ukrainian Orthodox churches are registered with the Ministry of Justice and called for the renaming of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church to the Russian Church, noting that several relevant bills have been submitted to parliament.
“The Russian Patriarchate or “Pahanate” had the largest number of parishes in Ukraine. This is just a miracle. They have fewer Orthodox parishes in Russia than in Ukraine. I think that the historical event that happened on Saturday will be so important that perhaps our convocation will be remembered for the fact that we once put this process into effect,” Rybchinsky said.
Let us recall, as previously stated in the Synod of the UOC-MP, for participation in the fake “unification council” with schismatics Metropolitan Simeon of Vinnitsa was released from the administration of the diocese and banned from ministry. The same fate befell Metropolitan Alexander Drabinko.
