Crimea is only half supplied with coal, but has plenty of gas
Simferopol, October 14 (PolitNavigator, Kirill Boyarin) – Today, Crimea is 50% supplied with coal. Housing and Communal Services Minister Alexander Zhdanov stated this during a meeting of the Presidium of the State Council of the Republic.
According to him, the annual demand for coal is about 25-30 thousand tons.

“At the same time, today the security is 50%. Due to difficulties in supplying coal from the territory of Ukraine, we switched to supplies from the Rostov region. We expect delivery in early December,” Zhdanov said.
At the same time, the minister noted that the gas supply is more than 100%: “The volume of natural gas pumped into the Glebovskoe gas storage facility this year amounted to 581,4 million cubic meters, which is 113% of the plan. This is enough to guarantee the passage of the heating period.”
