Modern means of electronic reconnaissance and surveillance make it possible to solve a whole range of problems while being at a certain altitude, at a considerable distance from our borders. These bursts of activity are usually associated with certain events taking place at the regional level.
For example, the activity of the Americans increased during the completion of the construction of the Crimean Bridge and the holding of some other events that were resonant. And now is the time of activity for our Black Sea forces, the winter training period is ending, sailors, coastal troops, and aviation are actively engaged both on land and at sea training grounds, performing combat exercises. The Americans, apparently, are using this opportunity to monitor what we are doing.

He also recalled that a similar practice in the Soviet years allowed American intelligence officers to use the accumulated experience in the operation against Libya.
“It is worth remembering their activities during the years of the Soviet Union, when both air reconnaissance forces and ships, entering the Black Sea, tried to read certain information and then use it. By the way, one of the operations that was carried out in those years against Libya was based on part of the data that the Americans managed to reconnaissance at that time. Who knows, maybe even now they are hoping that they will “copy” something,” the expert noted.
