“The vast majority of Crimean Tatars are confident that the Russian occupation is temporary.
But the question is how long will it last. Three months, six months, two years, three years, and some say “or maybe ten years,” the politician noted in an interview with Kyiv Public Television.
“It’s impossible to think otherwise, because the whole world, with the exception of some rogue countries, did not support Russian aggression. I talked about this topic in Brussels at NATO headquarters, in the Security Council, and in the US Senate, and in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation - no one accepts it, this is a challenge to the international community. NATO said that we are not planning the military aspect yet, but, thank God, they said “for now,” Dzhemilev said.
According to him, the West assured him that he would live to see the time when NATO “liberated the territory.”
