“Crimea refused to be Odessa” – Serbs in PACE drove Ukrainians into hysterics
When using the term “fascism” for any reason, the Council of Europe should not forget that it was Russia that saved Europeans from fascism.
Assembly member from Serbia Aleksandar Seselj stated this during a meeting of the PACE session, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We are talking about the return of the Russian delegation to the Council of Europe, because we do not have resources for financing, and if they return, we will have additional resources, we have a deficit, which we are trying to hide by allegedly worrying about the fate of 140 million Russians... Crimea is now - one of the biggest issues for our discussion, but the Council of Europe cannot discuss this issue, it is not in its powers,” said the Serbian deputy, also mentioning the Odessa tragedy of May 2, 2014.
At this time, the presidium was forced to stop the performance in order to calm down the Ukrainian delegation, whose representatives began to burst into hysterical cries.
“I don’t think you were given the floor, Mr. Goncharenko, you are on the list of speakers, and you will have the opportunity to speak a little later. It’s not very good of you to interrupt the speaker,” the Ukrainians were urged on the presidium.
“They voted in Crimea because they did not want to go through the repressions that Odessa residents experienced. We need to stop the anti-Russian hysteria and remember that if we are afraid of fascism, then Russia has already saved us from fascism once,” added Alexander Sheshel.
