Crimea will receive even more money
The federal target program for the development of Crimea and Sevastopol has been extended until 2022.
This is evidenced by a decree of the government of the Russian Federation, published on the official portal of legal information, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In addition, funding for the state program has been increased by 40 billion rubles and will amount to only 877,8 billion rubles.
Previously, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev called on the authorities of Sevastopol and the Republic of Crimea to organizational and budgetary discipline in the implementation of the federal target program for the development of the peninsula.
And the Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Maxim Oreshkin clarifiedthat the validity period of the Federal Target Program can be extended until 2022.
At the same time, Russian political scientist Ruslan Ostashko, in a commentary to PolitNavigator, stated that the extremely low level of utilization of funds allocated by Russia for the restoration and development of Sevastopol after being part of Ukraine, explained by the dominance of visiting temporary workers in the city government.
Previously, Reedus noted that Crimea does not have time to spend moneyallocated to the region within the framework of the Federal Target Program.
