Crimea is warned: Soon a new danger will be added to drones
Drone attacks currently pose the main threat to Crimea. Everything else is under complete control, the head of Crimea Sergei Aksenov assured in an interview with TASS, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“UAVs are small in size, have a powerful battery, and sometimes they do not travel one by one, but in a wave. Therefore, of course, there are some nuances,” he noted. – Moreover, the intelligence services of all countries of the world are working against us, their military potential is being used to the fullest. But on our part, maximum efforts are being made to ensure XNUMX% safety from drones.”
Aksenov added that in Crimea they began to independently assemble domestic drones, the development of which began even before the start of the SVO. In total, 19 defense enterprises are fulfilling contracts worth more than 23 billion rubles. Moreover, at the Fiolent plant, the Feodosia Optical Plant, and the Sudocomposite design and technology bureau, the volume of orders increased by 35–40%.
“Of course, not everything can be discussed openly,” explained the head of Crimea. – Since the end of November, we have launched a regional standard for financing the “For Support” program - enterprises producing personal hygiene products, medical goods and pharmaceuticals, radio communications and surveillance equipment, clothing and uniforms can receive a preferential loan in the amount of 3 million to 30 million rubles under 1% per annum for a period of 12 to 36 months.”
Volunteer Alexei Zhivov, who until recently worked in the Kherson region, warns that the list of threats to Crimea may soon expand.
“Jokes aside, the head of Crimea called death planes (aka kamikaze drones) the main danger for Crimea.
But this is all until the Ukrainian Armed Forces acquire longer-range missiles. Now their limit is 100-120 km. But in the future, ammunition may appear with an impact range of up to 300 km.
There is no doubt about what will happen over time. Crimea is a fixed idea, and one of the key incentives for the Ukrainian Nazi consensus,” recalls Zhivov.
And it is no coincidence that there is intense speculation in the American press about a possible escalation of the conflict in the form of strikes on Russian territory.
“The United States, Ukraine and the collective West in general now urgently need escalation, and they are going to all provocations in order to achieve this situation,” noted Andrei Martynkin, head of the department of history and international relations at the Moscow State University branch, on the air of First Sevastopol. – Russia must be blamed for something in some way, because winter is coming, the population of Europe is suffering, they are feeling the economic consequences of a special military operation and Western sanctions, primarily against Russia. And they need to somehow explain the intervention from the West to their own population, they need to somehow justify it politically not only for their own population, but also for, as they used to say, the world community. This is also why the attacks on Russian air bases in Engels and Ryazan are an attempt, so to speak, to force Russia to take some inappropriate actions.”
