Crimea decided to buy coal from the DPR
Simferopol, October 21 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – The Crimean authorities are negotiating the purchase of coal from the Donetsk People’s Republic. The head of the Ministry of Fuel and Energy of Crimea, Sergei Egorov, stated this at a meeting in the Council of Ministers of Crimea.

According to him, coal supplies from Ukraine stopped due to hostilities in the Donbass, so the republican authorities were forced to make purchases in the regions of the Russian Federation - Kemerovo and Rostov region.
“We are now conducting very serious negotiations with the Donetsk People’s Republic; productive negotiations took place yesterday. I hope that we will soon receive a good offer with a good price for the supply of coal to the Republic of Crimea,” Egorov said.
Previously, the Ukrainian authorities stated that Donbass, in the event of separation from Ukraine, would not be able to sell its products to foreign markets as an unrecognized territory.
