Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation Evgeny Bushmin stated this on the air of the talk show “Sunday Evening”.

According to him, it is wrong to say that Russia got Crimea at too high a price.

“If we compare Crimea in terms of costs with other Russian mega-projects, then Crimea is the Olympics in Sochi. Is it possible to compare them? It seems to me that it was possible to replace 10 Olympics with one Crimea. To say that it is some kind of terrible economic disaster for us is wrong,” says Evgeniy Bushmin.
