Crimea demands amnesty for Novorossiya
The policy of Russophobia in Ukraine, carried out with the support of the West, has taken “the most wild and monstrous forms.”
This was stated by the head of Crimea Sergei Aksenov at the “Great Russian Word” festival in Livadia.
“The West and its satellites in post-Soviet countries are pursuing an aggressive policy aimed at destroying the humanitarian space of the Russian world, at ousting the Russian language and Russian culture, and at reformatting the consciousness of the Russian-speaking population. This aggression took its wildest and ugliest forms in Ukraine,” he said, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Aksenov, the situation is unacceptable when Russian courts make decisions “on the deportation of defenders of the Russian World under our arguments about unity,” and “thousands of other compatriots are unsuccessfully trying to obtain Russian citizenship.”
“At the last forum, I already spoke about the need for a complete migration amnesty for residents of Novorossiya. That we need a more meaningful and less formal, less bureaucratic approach to the implementation of programs related to the resettlement and settlement of our compatriots. This fully corresponds to the strategic interests of our country,” Aksenov said.
In his opinion, Crimea today is a showcase for Ukraine.
“The results of the development of the peninsula under blockades and sanctions are especially impressive against the backdrop of the economic and cultural degradation of Ukraine and other post-Soviet countries ruled by Russophobic regimes favored by the West. I just want to repeat after the classic: “Well, son, did your Poles help you?” – said the head of Crimea.
