“His tests have been successfully completed. Moreover, from December 1 last year, the complex began to carry out experimental combat duty at the airfields of the Southern Military District,” Putin said.
According to him, the unique flight characteristics of the high-speed carrier aircraft allow the missile to be delivered to the release point in a matter of minutes.
“At the same time, a missile flying at hypersonic speed, 10 times the speed of sound, also maneuvers in all parts of the flight path. This allows it to reliably overcome all existing and future air defense and missile defense systems, delivering nuclear and conventional warheads to the target at a distance of more than 2 thousand kilometers. We called this system “Dagger,” Putin said.
