About this online publication "Crimea Media" said the company's press secretary Ekaterina Porubleva.
According to her, it is not yet known from what date the new rules will be introduced:
“We must install special software that will send data on purchased tickets to a single database. It’s not there yet,” noted Elena Porubleva.
The measure is being introduced in connection with the requirements of the federal law “On Transport Security”. Passengers will need to provide a passport or birth certificate when purchasing a ticket. In other cities of the Russian Federation, this norm has been in force for several years.
As PolitNavigator reported, from May 15 in Sevastopol, tickets for intercity buses will be sold using passports.
