“Now bodies, often for money, are transported in private cars or trucks, which at other times, for example, can be used to deliver food products. It has been proposed to introduce into the law such a concept as specialized transport for transporting the dead (not to be confused with a hearse!). This is a special car that will help prevent the spread of the disease if a person was sick with AIDS, hepatitis, tuberculosis during his lifetime. I think that the scheme is clear and correct, but on the condition that the transport will work for free, as ambulances do. Alternatively, municipalities can purchase special vehicles and transport the dead at their own expense,” Babashov said.
