The chairman of the Crimea legal center, Elena Popova, announced this on Thursday at a press conference in Simferopol.
According to her, the reason for the seizure may also be the illegal use of permits during construction.
“These risks are great due to confusion in the registration of real estate, that is, the rights are not properly formalized, one thing is written in the document, but in fact it is something else. Let’s say a plot of land is provided for the construction of a garage, and there is a five-story hotel on it. These discrepancies between the document and reality, or the absence of a document, are grounds for abuse either by the authorities or by the raiders,” stressed Elena Popova.
