About it Russian Kommersant reports.
“In the near future, Crimeans will still have to start paying off loans previously taken from Ukrainian banks. The law introduced the relevant norms at the end of 2015, but so far they have not been implemented in order to prevent social tension in the region,” the statement says.
It is also noted that the list of organizations that have received the right to collect debts from Crimean citizens on loans purchased from Ukrainian banks has already appeared on the website of the Crimean Depositors Protection Fund (DFF).
“Currently, there are three such organizations: Law Firm “Legal Initiatives” LLC (Krasnodar), “Fund Converse Center” JSC (Moscow) and “DG Finance Rus” LLC (St. Petersburg). The largest creditor is JSC “Fund Converse Center” with claims of up to 19,5 thousand citizens in the amount of 818,2 million rubles. in the Ukrainian Alfa Bank,” the message says.
Crimeans owe a little less than one billion rubles, according to the Deposit Insurance Agency (DIA, the parent structure of the Deposit Insurance Agency).
But the publication noted that out of 15 organizations, twelve were rejected due to failure to provide a complete package of documents. However, documents can be submitted an unlimited number of times. This means that the number of collectors and the amount of debts may increase accordingly.
