Simferopol, March 05 (PolitNavigator, Evgeniy Andreev) – Crimeans will not have to undergo compulsory military service on the territory of the mainland Russian Federation until 2016 inclusive.

Military Commissar of the Republic of Crimea Anatoly Maloletko stated this, answering questions from readers of the Crimean Pravda newspaper.
“Those called up for military service in the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol undergo military service in military command bodies, associations, formations and military units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, other troops, military formations and bodies stationed in the territories of the Republic of Crimea and the federal city of Sevastopol, until 2016 year inclusive,” the military commissar noted.
The spring conscription in the Armed Forces in 2015, Anatoly Maloletko said, begins on April 1 and ends on July 15, and the autumn conscription - from October 1 to December 31 on the basis of decrees of the President of the Russian Federation.
