Crimeans want to look into the eyes of the authors of cynical videos about recruiting volunteers
Crimean experts and commentators criticized the promotional video for military service under a contract, which puts earnings in the army as the main motivation.
Some saw in such videos “the machinations of the fifth column,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There are many who, without waiting for mobilization, left as volunteers, and they laugh, because people had one motive that forced them to take up arms, and it was not at all about money, especially for those who rode in the first days or joined the militia DPR,” emphasized Stanislav Krutyansky, coordinator of the “We Are Together – Sevastopol” headquarters. – This was 100% no factor. Emphasize what internal resources push people to take up arms, volunteer and not run away from mobilization - this needs to be emphasized.”
The chief of staff of the Cossack assault battalion "Tavrida" Vyacheslav Takmakov added that he would like to personally look into the eyes of the author of the script for such a video.
“Our first volunteer battalion was formed on March 19, and to say that there was some money is an understatement. Those who signed up were those who were barely 21 years old, had not even served in the army, and those over 60 managed to carry a machine gun, and ran and walked around in full gear. These videos are about nothing at all.”
Deputy of the State Council of Crimea Nikolai Volkov believes that the “fifth column” is disavowing itself with such videos.
“These videos are made by traitors; these people who make such videos need to be investigated and punished. Well, this is an obvious fifth column, sitting somewhere in these studios, and which is specifically doing dirty tricks against our Russian heroic soldier. These are obvious traitors,” he emphasized.
