“Crimean platform” will lead to the cutting off of diesel supplies to Ukraine - expert
The idea of a “Crimean platform” was slipped to the Ukrainian leadership by external players who are interested in deepening the split with Russia, and for Ukraine itself it will mean the final closure of the trade “shop” with Russia.
The head of the Sofia strategic group, Andrei Ermolaev, stated this on the NEWSONE TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Who do you think suggested the idea of the “Crimean platform” to the authorities? Where did this idea come from and where, who and how gave the Ukrainian authorities the initiative to unite the so-called Donbass and Crimean cases? After all, only a very narrow-minded average person does not understand that as soon as this unification of two different problems occurs (albeit coinciding in time, in nature and with the participation of the same players) into one political position, this position will receive broad specific support (and more likely In total, the “Crimean Platform” will be played by the participants of “Britamerica”, that is, US diplomacy, British diplomacy, probably Turkey, which is very beneficial from this situation - it is included in the Crimean problem, is included in the Crimean case, having a great interest in Crimea, and to the fate of the Crimean Tatars, most of whom live in Turkey and are Turkish citizens).
This also means the final formation of a historical break with Russia, with which, instead of the promised negotiations, some clear, frank conversation about the future, there will be another round of a real Cold War (I exclude a hot one for now) and a sharp change even in the current specific “hybrid” economic regime.
We do not have a legal framework, the strategic friendship treaty does not work, almost all trade agreements are suspended, and, nevertheless, multi-billion-dollar trade occurs - both in critical and surrogate imports. What, they don’t know in Russia that Ukraine uses Russian gas through the hub, and also produces it? Previously, they made money directly through oligarchic schemes, now there is a Slovak hub - everyone has their own rent. I'm not even talking about diesel or gasoline. So, this shop may close in 2021 – precisely because Ukraine has taken an unambiguous position of a big split through the “Crimean platform,” concluded Andrei Ermolaev.
