This was stated by the Chairman of the Committee on Legislation, State Construction and Local Self-Government of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea, Efim Fiks, on the air of the talk show “Gravity” on the Simferopol ITV channel.
“Members of the People's Militia are people who honestly perform their duty. Duty under the Law of the Republic on the People's Militia. Within the framework of the Constitution of the Republic of Crimea. And we will support them in every possible way,” assured the politician, who “survived” all the Ukrainian regimes in Crimea in the chair of the people’s representative.
“Of course, there are probably some things that the command of the People’s Militia will look into and make decisions. Today these are the patriots of Crimea, and we bow low to them. The people’s militia of Crimea was, is and will be,” emphasized Efim Fiks.
Deputy of the Evpatoria City Council Roman Voloshin tried to object to him.
“Indeed, everyone is grateful to them... But today we live in a peaceful, calm time. I want to understand – why do we need security forces then?” he noted.
“There is a substitution of concepts,” added Vadim Padalko, acting director of the Donetsk company Transbud, whose equipment in Crimea was taken “under protection” by the self-defense.
As PolitNavigator reported, on Thursday on the ATR TV channel, Crimean lawyer and journalist Violetta Sineglazova described the People's Militia of Crimea as a legalized group engaged in the redistribution of business on the peninsula.
