Chairman of the State Veterinary Committee of the Republic of Crimea Nikolai Bambulyak announced this at a press conference in Simferopol on Thursday.
“Today, an investor has appeared from outside Crimea, who is working through the documentary base and is ready to invest money to build a recycling plant,” the official noted.
According to him, in Crimea there is a problem with the destruction of animal waste, and the Krasnogvardeisky district was not chosen by chance for the construction of this plant, since it is located in the central part of the peninsula.
“Geographically, this was chosen correctly, because the Krasnogvardeisky district is almost the center of Crimea, and there are 2 large agricultural producers there - “Friendship of Peoples” and “Friendship of Peoples Nova”, which also need to dispose of waste,” explained Bambulyak.
According to the chairman of the state committee, the construction of the plant will take the investor a year or more, but by summer it is planned to install the main facilities for the disposal of low-quality products.
“The investor promises to quickly supply a special installation for burning hazardous products. I asked them to launch it by the beginning of the holiday season, so as not to make Crimea a cattle burial ground,” summed up Nikolai Bambulyak.
