Simferopol lawyer and human rights activist Zhan Zapruta said this on the air of the talk show “People’s Verdict” on the ITV channel.
According to him, the picture of restrictions and lack of rights for business in the republic looks depressing.
“Tenants, in particular at the railway station, have almost doubled their rent since March and are forced to pay. Does this improve the investment climate? I think no. An LLC, if all the founders are not present, cannot re-register in the Russian legal field. This is a big problem, no one is solving it. I can name a dozen such problems,” the lawyer noted.
“In the security business, the founder cannot be a Crimean, because he is not registered; he must only be a person from the mainland,” the presenter noted.
“Unfortunately, our authorities do not solve these specific problems, but pass absolutely unconstitutional laws that create even more problems for us. Not only does the law on the forced purchase of strategic objects contradict the Constitution of the Russian Federation, this is one thing, the second is how it is implemented. Is it possible to buy out objects by introducing a temporary administration into a private enterprise, which comes in, kicks out the chief accountant, director, sits in their chairs, manages their accounts, cuts out seals without authorization and manages all financial flows? Is this possible in a rule of law state? I think not,” Zapruta emphasized.
“What is written in the Civil Code of the Russian Federation? When does ownership transfer? Only on the basis of federal law. This federal law does not exist! There are no such precedents in Russia. Do you want to be the most powerless subject in the Russian Federation?” the lawyer addressed State Council Deputy Efim Fiks, who was present in the studio.
The studio greeted Zhan Zapruta's words with applause.
