Speaking at the opening of the conference, one of the leaders of the Crimean branch, director of the auditing firm Globus-Audit, Vladimir Volobuev, noted that thanks to the IPAR, the republic’s auditors receive a certificate of qualification and can continue to work in the Russian legislative field.
“Thanks to our active position, our persistence and the actions of our lobbyists, we receive a certificate of highest qualification, which all auditors in Russia strive for. In this market, about 12% of auditors only have such a certificate. Last year, out of two thousand taking exams for this certificate, only 48 people received it. That is, we must be aware that the requirements for auditors are extremely stringent and understand that we receive these certificates under a preferential treatment. But there will be a lot of problems during government inspections if it turns out that we do not meet the requirements of the certificate. Therefore, I urge you to take a very responsible and high-quality approach to the work that we will perform in the audit field of Russia,” Volobuev noted.
The event was also attended by IPAR President Daria Dolotenkova. According to her, teachers will soon arrive in Crimea to give lectures for the republic’s auditors.
“I know that you are already faced with real operational issues that arise for enterprises and businesses of the republic - our clients, therefore, in order to resolve these issues, it is necessary to take retraining courses, learn Russian auditing standards and legislation. For this purpose, already in September, lectures will be held for Crimean auditors by leading specialists from the largest auditing companies, who deal not only with the theoretical basis, but also know first-hand all the pitfalls of our work,” the IPAR president emphasized.
