The presenter of the program, Lilya Budzhurova, stated this live.
“You see two empty chairs. Oleg Shishkov, deputy chairman of the Committee on Interethnic Relations of the State Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was supposed to be in one. Here nearby we planned that we would have a representative of the Ministry of Property and Land Relations, but at the very last moment Oleg Georgievich refused to come, and the Ministry of Property referred to being busy, but at least it somehow looked decent, which cannot be said about the position of the State Committee for Nationalities, whose empty chair you see from this side,” the journalist noted.
She recalled that the State Committee for Nationalities and Nationalities is the same structure that, at its creation, stated that it should deal not only with interethnic relations, but also with the problems of socio-economic development, first of all, of repatriates.
