At today's extraordinary session, 74 elected officials voted for this decision, a Navigator correspondent reports.
According to the decision, Crimean deputies propose to “temporarily lift the ban for Crimean civil servants on owning accounts, as well as storing cash and valuables in foreign banks until the circumstances preventing the closure of these accounts are eliminated.”
In addition, Crimeans who have received Russian passports are proposed to be recognized as persons who do not have the citizenship of a foreign state (Ukraine), subject to their filing an application about their unwillingness to hold the citizenship of this state.
“Also, documents confirming ownership of real estate and all vehicles belonging to legal entities of all forms of ownership, as well as citizens who have acquired Russian citizenship, issued by state and other official bodies of Ukraine and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea are proposed to be recognized without limiting the period of their validity and any confirmation from government bodies of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Crimea, unless otherwise follows from the documents themselves,” noted Chairman of the State Council Vladimir Konstantinov.
