The Crimean Vremya newspaper writes about this, publishing a letter from refugee Lyudmila Volchenko, who ended up in Yevpatoria.
“My child is bullied in kindergarten. My son is 5 years old, we came from the Donetsk region and received temporary asylum in Crimea. My son only recently began to eat normally and stopped being afraid of every sharp sound,” she notes.
According to the woman, the problems began again when she took the boy to kindergarten in mid-October.
“At first everything was fine, I even had fun there with the children. And lately he’s been crying all the time, saying that they call him a parasite and say that “refugees came to take away our parents’ jobs and money,” hinting at us.
Shame on the parents of these children! I have no words. I understand that children’s cruelty is sometimes too strong, but children heard about this from their fathers and mothers. I kindly ask everyone who has such an opinion, do not “shove” it into your children. Don’t teach them to hate those who are weaker,” writes Lyudmila Volchenko.
