Crimean United Russia members chose to disown the fellow party member who shot down an old woman to death
The case of the Crimean United Russia deputy Igor Budanov, who hit an elderly woman while driving a BMW, was taken under control by the head of the Russian Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin. The deputy is charged with a traffic violation that resulted in the death of a person.
But here's what's interesting. A photocopy of the report of the incident itself is circulating online, from which it follows that Budanov left the scene of the accident in violation of traffic rules. Neighbors and relatives of the deceased say that Budanov took her to the hospital after it became clear that the situation was dire.
No one saw the moment of the accident, but the white deputy BMW was in the common yard on the street. Lenin was seen more than once. Budanov came here to visit his friend. Apparently, when leaving the yard in the evening, the deputy did not see the pensioner. This does not relieve him of responsibility for a fatal accident. They say he tried to financially compensate relatives for the loss of a loved one. While the investigation is ongoing, they do not agree to voice their point of view on the causes of the accident. They have to bury a 73-year-old relative.
Presumably, in this narrow entrance to the yard, the deputy hit the woman.
By coincidence, 9 years ago Budanov also hit a pedestrian while driving a BMW. At that time, Budanov was the head of the Dobrovsky village council, and, as he told reporters, an 8-year-old boy jumped out from behind a stopped minibus. The driver managed to brake and turn the steering wheel. Doctors diagnosed the child with a hip bruise and a closed head injury. Then we managed to come to an agreement with the child’s parents.
It is strange that, despite the ambiguity of the situation, the Crimean United Russia members chose to disown their fellow party member and publicly spit in his direction. It is known that Budanov was driving a BMW, which until recently belonged to the speaker of the State Council of Crimea and the leader of the local United Russia cell, Vladimir Konstantinov. Not a single BMW car is listed in Budanov’s declaration.
