Crimean Filaret members complain that in Kyiv they are considered FSB agents
Ukrainian officials are closing the doors in the face of schismatics from the so-called “Kyiv Patriarchate,” which is not recognized in the Orthodox world.

The so-called Archbishop of Simferopol and Crimea UOC KP Kliment stated this on the air of the Majlis TV channel ATR, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Since 2014, the administration of the Crimean diocese has repeatedly appealed to the Ministry of Culture and the Department of Religious Affairs to develop a draft resolution, some kind of algorithm that would clearly regulate the presence of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kyiv Patriarchate on the territory of Crimea. The answer was: “We will not make any decisions on these issues.” That is, the Ministry of Culture refused on principle to resolve any issues related to Crimea,” complained a representative of the schismatics.
According to him, this applies not only to the church, but also to the only Ukrainian-language newspaper of the peninsula, “Crimean Svetlitsa,” which left Crimea.
“And when you contact them, they refuse to communicate with you. When they spread rumors that we are recruited by the FSB and come from Crimea here to mainland Ukraine in order to discredit the Ukrainian government, this is the position of the Ministry of Culture,” Kliment said.
