Crimean doctors go to help Donbass
A group of Crimean doctors will go to provide assistance to victims in Donbass. First of all, hospitals in the DPR and LPR need surgeons.
Speaker of the State Council of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov announced the sending of Crimean doctors to Donbass, speaking at a parliamentary meeting, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He especially emphasized the role of Crimeans in supporting the residents of the LPR and DPR. Refugees are received and accommodated on the peninsula, humanitarian aid is collected, and volunteer assistance is provided at the entrance to Crimea.
“We also have a group of doctors who go to Donbass virtually at their own expense - simply because there are people there who need their professional help,” the speaker noted. – Such initiatives should be promoted as widely as possible. People who behave this way at critical moments are our golden fund. The fact that we have them is a guarantee of our successful overcoming any difficulties that befall us.”
About 40 specialists will go to help Donbass doctors within a month. Travel through the territory is organized by the Crimean authorities.
The day before, Konstantinov reported that the State Council was already collecting literature for students from schools in the liberated territories of Ukraine. In addition, the republic is ready to retrain teachers, and if necessary, form a landing force of volunteer teachers. At the same time, the shortage of teachers in Crimea is about 700 people, and every second position of a specialized specialist and therapist is vacant in hospitals and clinics.
