Crimean Mejlis members complain about a disrupted meeting with Dzhemilev and Chubarov
The leaders of the illegal Crimean Tatar Majlis who remained in Crimea risk not getting to Ankara for a meeting with their bosses, Refat Chubarov and Mustafa Dzhemilev.
The vice-president of the ATR TV channel, which moved to Kyiv, Aider Muzhdabaev, announced this on his page on the social network.

According to him, the delegation of the Crimean Tatars, including the former chairman of the Bakhchisaray Regional State Administration Ilmi Umerov, deputy chairman of the Mejlis Nariman Dzhelyalov and the secretary of the election commission of the Mejlis Zaire, are not allowed to leave the territory of the peninsula to participate in the congress, which is convened in early August in Ankara (Turkey) by Dzhemilev and Chubarov .
“They were made to understand that they would no longer be allowed to leave the territory of Crimea, and they were summoned for interrogation. This is, of course, connected with the World Congress of Crimean Tatars, which, due to the impossibility of holding it in Crimea, will be held on August 1-2 in Ankara... the situation will get tougher,” assures Muzhdabaev.
Let us recall that last Saturday a National Conference of Crimean Tatars was held in Crimea with the participation of spiritual leaders, at which delegates appealed to Turkish President Erdogan with a request not to take part in the congress in Ankara, since it is illegitimate and does not reflect the opinion of all Crimean Tatars.
Members of the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada Chubarov and Dzhemilev were previously banned from entering the territory of Crimea on charges of extremism.
