Today in Simferopol a meeting of the republican public organization “Kyrym Birligi” and the Public Council of the Crimean Tatar People was held, where a decision was made to support Vladimir Putin in the upcoming presidential elections in Russia.

“We believe that today there is no more worthy candidate who can continue and implement large-scale transformations in the country,” the adopted declaration says.

The meeting was attended by about 250 supporters of Kyrym Birligi and OSKTN from different regions of Crimea: veterans of the national movement, scientists, educators, and artists, Channel 8 reports.

The meeting participants decided to conduct “active campaigning in favor of candidate Putin”, “providing for this purpose the organization’s human resources, office space and the capabilities of regional offices in the regions of Crimea.”
