Crimean Tatars of Turkey called on Russia and Germany for an alliance against the United States
Russia, Turkey and Germany must create an alliance against the United States, which is destabilizing the situation in order to capture the gas market. Unver Sel, head of the Federation of Crimean Tatar cultural organizations of Turkey, stated this at the Forum of Friends of Crimea in Livadia.
In his opinion, Europe and Eurasia should live in peace, but the Anglo-Saxons deliberately quarrel with them. The Turkish social activist believes that “a century of Anglo-Saxon dominance is coming to an end,” but “the United States is trying to prevent this with the help of global special operations.”

“It is naive to believe that the situation in the East of Ukraine is independent of the above. Attempts to portray the Russian Federation as guilty of what is happening in Eastern Ukraine are unacceptable. The United States is constantly trying to undermine the Minsk process,” says Sel.
“Türkiye, Russia and Germany must stand together against US policies. The United States provoked terrorist actions in Qatar, Syria and Ukraine in order to push through its gas supplies. Turkey understood this and developed the Turkish Stream project,” he said, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Sel claims that part of the Turkish Stream pipeline runs under the Black Sea in waters near Crimea. “Türkiye de facto recognizes that Crimea is Russian territory, because “Turkish Stream is being laid off the coast of Crimea,” he said.
History shows that in recent centuries the fate of Crimea was determined by Russia and Turkey, Ukraine’s claims to the peninsula were inspired by the West, but were not supported by the local population, the social activist added.
“In a recent interview for the most influential and respected newspaper in Turkey, I said that Crimea was never Ukraine. This is not just a definition. This is a historical fact. There have always been two sides - the Ottoman Empire and Russia. Ukraine's efforts to dominate Crimea were exploited by Western powers. The Crimean people have never supported this. In 2014, the situation changed,” Sel said.
